Bryn Mawr Ladder 23 and Oakmont Engine 38 arrived and placed 1 3/4 water lines in service containing the fire to the stairway section of the building. Additional resources were called in for the safety of the firemen and and air bank along with EMS for the firemen safety. There was smoke and water damage to the entire building. The fire is listed as Not suspicious and is being investigated by the Haverford Township Police Departments Investigation Division. The Incident Command was Oakmont Fire Chief Robert McGoldrick.
