We’re happy to share this wonderful post from Cardinal John Foley School following our recent visit with their students! 🚒

It was a pleasure spending time with the students, talking about fire safety, exploring the fire truck, and giving them a closer look at our firefighters’ gear.

A special thank you to Cardinal John Foley School for welcoming the Oakmont Fire Company and for sharing these wonderful photos and memories from our visit. We’re grateful for the opportunity to connect with the students and be a part of their day!

Here is their post:

“What a wonderful day for a visit from the Oakmont Fire Company! Our students had the opportunity to learn about fire safety, explore the different parts of a fire truck, and see the firefighters’ gear up close.

And in preschool, the timing couldn’t have been more perfect! One of our students got the sweetest surprise when his dad, a Philadelphia firefighter, arrived on screen as his class’ Mystery Reader! The joy on his face was palpable—and it made an already special day even more memorable.

We are so grateful to the brave firefighters who took the time to teach our students about the important work they do in our community.”
