Just after noon the call was received for one engine to assist HTPD and PENNDOT on Darby Road at the I-476 overpass. An extremely lucky dump truck driver had severely damaged the sound barrier at the overpass. PENNDOT was on scene and removing the remaining pieces that were hanging precariously from the overpass.
