Just before 10 am units were dispatched to Glendale Road/Burmont Road for an auto accident with entrapment. On the arrival of FM-1 (Marino) he confirmed the entrapment and had the Rescue Companies expedite due to heavy entrapment. On arrival the crew of Squad 38 went to work on the drivers side of the vehicle, after stabilizing it. After removing the roof, both doors and the ‘B’ post on the drivers side, the patient was removed and transported to 56-7 where he was stabilized and transported to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania for treatment.
